Today was grandparents day for 2 of our classes at school. Mine being one of them. I love our grandparent days. Parent days are little more nerve racking because essentially they are there seeing what they are paying for, but grandparents' day is just plain fun. The grandparents think anything their grandchild does is cute... which means sweet success on my part because we do lots of cute things!
I thought this year it would be fun to ask my grandmother to come. I don't why I never thought of it before. My kids were thrilled about our "special guest" and also she was there to be a special buddy to those who did not have grandparents that were able to come. It worked perfectly. I was so thrilled so share this fun day with her.
