While on our ski trip, we found out that one of the guys we grew up with in our youth ministry was killed in Afghanistan. We weren't close to him, but we have many friends who were. He bravely protected our country and literally gave his life for it. Please pray for his friends and family today as they celebrate his life.

It is always hard to hear stories like this. Whew. May we never forget.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great reminder to be thankful for these men and women who daily risk their lives for us. Also a great reminder of how we need to be bathing them in prayer!
